Cherry is prized for its smooth grain, warm color, and graceful aging. It brings a refined, heirloom quality to Camelback Home furniture and develops greater depth as the wood responds to light and time.
Fresh Cherry may begin as pale pinkish tan or light reddish brown. Exposure to light gradually deepens the heartwood toward warm russet, reddish brown, and amber. The grain is fine and usually straight, with occasional curls, waves, gum pockets, or small mineral marks.

Outdoor Performance and Care
Cherry heartwood offers some natural decay resistance, but outdoor furniture still needs a high-quality protective finish and regular maintenance. Uneven sun exposure can produce uneven darkening, so rotate accessories and use breathable covers when practical. Covered outdoor placement makes the color easier to maintain.
